Font 'Arial' does not support style 'Regular'

Symptoms:

When using the software you may get a message "Font 'Arial' does not support style 'Regular' " (or a similar message with another font file name)

Cause:

The message such as "Font 'Arial' does not support style 'Regular' " usually occurs when a Microsoft Windows system font file is either missing from your Windows OS or it is corrupted. Microsoft Windows Font files are usually stored in 'C:\Windows\Fonts'

Solution:

There are two potential solutions:

Reinstall the Arial.ttf font - or Arial TrueType (Regular) - from your original Windows CD. You may need to move or rename the corrupted fonts first.

Or, Copy the Arial font file from another Windows PC of the same OS version.

Where the font file name is different, reinstall the appropriate font file.

Caution: Do not download and install the font files from any unknown web sites.
