Access is denied Windows Installer message

Symptoms:

Message 'Access is denied' is displayed when installing a software.

Cause:

Where a message 'Access is denied' while installing any software appears, then Windows User Name used to log into Windows OS on the computer does not have sufficient permissions to install any software on that computer.

Solution:

Modify Windows User Access rights for the Windows User login to give Administrator rights to the Windows User on that computer. Or log into the computer with a Windows User Name that already has administrative permissions and then install the software.
