An error occured while downloading the file

Symptoms:

When installing Andica Software, the message appears ‘An error occurred while downloading the file http://www.installengine.com/cert05/dotnetfx/dotnetfx.exe. What would you like to do?’

Andica Software required .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5 and .NET FRAMEWORK 4.8 to be enabled.

Cause:

If the computer on which you are installing the software does not have Microsoft .NET Framework (which is part of Microsoft Windows OS) installed on it, then you may get a message ‘The InstallShield wizard, therefore, tries to download and install it.

Solution:

Enable Windows Features of .Net Framework

• Go to Windows Control Panel

  

• Select 'Programs and Features' - Click on 'Turn Windows features on or off'.

  

  

• Tick to enable .NET Framework 3.5 (if it is not already selected. Selection is usually indicated by a tick or a black marker in the box) and

• .NET Framework 4.8 is likely to be enabled. Tick to enable if it is not already selected. (Selection is usually indicated by a tick or a black marker in the box)

• Select 'OK'
